1. If I join today, what kit will I receive? If you want to start your membership immediately, and are paying by credit card, you will receive the current month's featured selection kit. If you are paying by check or money order, you will receive the featured selection kit for the month in which we receive your check or money order.
2. I want to pay by check. Why do I have to pay in advance for three months? We do this because it helps to keep the cost down and ensure that you will receive your kit on time. We do not send monthly invoices, and the three month advance payment ensures that you will get the kit you want.
3. But how will I know when my prepayment ends? We send out a renewal notice with your third kit so that you won't miss any kits.
4. Can I prepay my membership by credit card? Of course. We can charge your credit card monthly, every three months, six months or annually. Whatever is most convenient for you. We offer some nice incentives if you prepay for six months or more (either by check or credit card). See How To Join for more information.
5. I don't like the selection I received. Can I return it? Yes, you may return your selection within 30 days if you are not happy with it. The only exception to this are the alternate kits. We ask that you please be be sure of your choice when you order an alternate selection. We order the stamps for Alternate selection kits based on your choices. We would prefer that you not return these stamps, but if you have to return an Alternate selection kit, please be aware that a $2.00 restocking fee will be charged.
5. How does the Selection Preview work? About the 15th of each month we post the selections for the next month on our website. If you like the Featured Selection, you need do nothing, you will automatically receive that kit. We also offer two alternates that compliment our featured selection. If you don't like the featured selection, you may order one of the alternate kits. If you like the featured selection and any of the alternate selections, you may order the alternate stamp only for $9.50 + $1.00 additional shipping (shipping may be more to international addresses). Please be aware that if you have a prepaid membership, we will have to charge your credit card for the additional cost, or we must receive a check for the additional cost before we can ship.
6. What comes in the Alternate Selection kits? Your kit will contain the same accessories and newsletter as the Featured Selection kit, but you will receive the alternate stamp. The accessories and newsletter are not altered to fit the alternate selections, because our stamps generally are coordinated to be useful together and the cost of printing different newsletters would result in having to increase the price of the kits. We pride ourselves in being able to offer kits at a reasonable price without compromising the quality.
7. I don't like any of the selections for next month. Now what? We understand that there may be selections you are not fond of. In this case, there are a few alternatives:
1) We invite you to look through Of-the-Heart catalog, and see if there is something that you would prefer. We will let you know if the stamp will be an even exchange or if there might be a small additional cost.
2) You can decline the selection for that month. Your credit card will not be charged and if you have prepaid, your membership will be extended for another month.
3) You can request one of our past selection kits, if it is still available. Our available kits are on our website under the shopping section.
4) Or you could select a kit and give it as a gift to someone. They make wonderful gifts to stampers, and if your gift results in a new member, you can receive a $5.00 gift certificate good for any purchase with us other than Stamp-A-Month Club membership fees.
1. I have AOL and can't get the new Selection Previews. I keep seeing the same selections every month. Some of the other pages seem to be outdated too. This can be easily corrected by holding down the CTRL key at the same time you click on the refresh icon at the top of your browser. This forces the browser to load directly from the website. Web pages are stored in your browsers cache, and sometimes you are viewing a page from the cache on your computer instead of from the website itself.
2. Where is the page I'm looking for? If you are having trouble finding a page, we have just added a new site map. Follow the Site Map link and you should be able to access it from there. If not, please notify the webmaster. Please be aware that we are in the process of upgrading the website, and there may still be "bugs in the system", so we would welcome any problems you find.
